About Bob:
A relative new comer to amateur radio and DXing as I was first licensed in 1998. 
During my high school years I was introduced to short wave listening when my
father gave me a Hallicrafters radio.  After many years of dreaming about
amateur radio a good friend challenged me to get my license and within less
than a year I successfully completed all examinations for my extra class license. 
Since then I have had the very good fortune of participating in several
DXpeditions as well as extensive traveling and meeting other amateur operators.
 
I am a partner in a commercial real estate development company in southern
California and live in Rainbow, California about 70 kilometers north of
San Diego, CA.  Married to Nancy with two sons, Bob and Chris.
